Elias Tsigounis is a Greek photographer based in the UK.
A denizen of London for the past decade, Elias integrates his experiences in healthcare with his artistic expression.
Elias's project 'King’s Portraits' comprises a historical archive of 800 Nurses and Health Care Assistants of King’s College Hospital in London. Captured during the turbulent periods of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic, these portraits vividly depict the diversity and resilience of the hospital's staff.
He has exhibited at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, After Nyne Gallery, Ambika P3 in London, and at the Athens Fringe Festival. His work is featured in corporate and private collections in London and Athens.
Editorially, Elias has contributed to printed publications on photography, including Geotropio and Photonet Magazine in Greece.
In 2019, he graduated from Falmouth University with a BA in Photography. In 2023, he completed his MA in Photographic Arts at the University of Westminster, London.
